The view is stunning, and the wines are fun and accessible. The same winemaker also works the upmarket Pepper Bridge wines, and Amavi is his outlet to experiment with different grapes, blends and vineyards. In addition to tastings, they'll also pour glasses - in case you just want to hang out on the deck and enjoy the view. Best enjoyed in the afternoon when the deck is shaded.

Staff was super friendly, accommodating. and quick to reply to needs/concerns. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast has a good variety of options. Great location, close to the highway and down town. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Walla Walla. My daughter also had a great time playing in the pool/hottub! Thank you folks for a fabulous stay

Room was clean, inviting, and comfortable. Staff is incredibly accommodating. I arrived late at night and requested a later checkout, which was approved. When I needed to catch a ride to the airport, I had trouble getting my uber app to work and asked the desk clerk if he knew of any drivers who could pick me up. He called several until one answered and was available. He was a life saver! This was my third time to stay at the Finch and it certainly won’t be the last.

One of the oldest mansions in Walla Walla, this house was built around 1880 and now serves as a museum depicting daily Victorian life on the frontier. From the website: When built, the Kirkman’s home was one of the grandest residences in Walla Walla reflecting tastes of the day and wealth generated by the ranching business. Now the Victorian Italianate house remains the only example of its kind locally, though vestiges of early 20th century architecture can be found throughout Walla Walla. In its heyday, the house was the setting for lavish entertaining, as well as for routine activities of daily American Victorian life. In addition to being home for the Kirkman’s, it also served as a boys’ dormitory for Whitman College from 1920-1924. During this time Walter Brattain, 1956 Nobel Prize winner for the co-invention of the transistor, studied in the home. The house was elected to the National Historic Register in December of 1974 and has been run as a non-profit organization since 1981.
