We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. The highlight of our trip was definitely the farm tour with Deb. She was so generous with her time, showing us around and sharing her knowledge of the animals and the land. It made our stay feel truly special and authentic. We can’t recommend this place—and Deb’s hospitality—highly enough!
We had a fantastic 2-night stay with 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The place is exactly as advertised—a true farmstay experience. The kids absolutely loved interacting with the horse, pony, chickens, and dogs, and the play area was a huge hit. It’s a lovely, quiet, and comfy spot with pretty much everything you need. Great value for money and a very peaceful getaway. Highly recommend! We visited the Pink Lake for a day trip, which was about a 2-hour drive through some beautiful countryside from the property. For supplies and dinner, we went to Beaufort, which is about a 20-minute drive and the closest town with shops and places to eat
My kids and I had such a lovely stay. We stayed two nights but wish we could have stayed a week. Deb was so accommodating and friendly. Daisy and Millie were very popular! The kids loved being able to walk the ponies and have tours of the farm. It is such a beautiful place to simply be. We can't wait to visit again.
My son and I had a lovely, peaceful break at this property. Our host, Deb, was fantastic; she had excellent communication prior to our stay and took us around the property to meet and feed the farm animals when we arrived. The location was perfect for a getaway from the noise and haste of suburban life.

Excellent property
Could not fault our stay. Very clean and all the facilities one needs. Private and comfortable. Debbie a very friendly and helpful host.
The farm stay was excellent and Deb s a fantastic host. She share with us her life stories and experiences as we walked around the farm visiting all the animals. Breakfas was great, fresh eggs, bacon, bread and coffee / tea. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
Escape the metro chaos with a family detox at this wonderful farm retreat! Ded, our gracious host, made our stay truly memorable with her warmth and helpfulness. Plus, the cabin was impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable getaway for all.
Everything according to the description, beautiful place we never felt we were away from home. Our dog enjoyed lot at there, morning farm tour feeding animals great experience we had there. Deb is a very nice person I never met a host like she.
We never stay somewhere twice but this farm stay is the exception!!
This was a return visit after 2.5yrs and we made it a surprise for our kids as the first stay was one of their most memorable holidays. It was so lovely to see our host and owner of the farm stay, Deb, again. She is so welcoming it felt like we were returning home! The kids loved doing the morning & afternoon feeding, and the location - air and views are spectacular!!!!afternoon feeding
A Wonderful Father's Day Weekend at Pyrenees Farm Stay
We had such a wonderful time celebrating Father’s Day weekend at Pyrenees Farm Stay. Deb and her dog, Daisy, were so welcoming. They showed us around the farm during our stay, and we had a lovely chat and shared lots of pats! :) Our dogs also had an amazing time. It has definitely become one of our favourite destinations!
Georgeus little cottage, spotlessly clean. Deb was a wonderful hostess, made us feel very welcome. Our daughter loved meeting all the farm animals, specially Pom Pom the sheep.
Would definitely recommend it to friends.
We absolutely loved our stay at Pyrenees Farm Stay! Deb was a very attentive host and the cabin was cosy and warm in such frosty weather. My kids (9 & 11) loved their walks around the farm, collecting eggs and helping to feed or visit the pigs (their favourite), horses, sheep, goats and cows. They loved cuddles with Daisey the Groodle too! After just two nights, we left feeling relaxed and the kids asked to come back next year! Thank you for having us!
Beautifully maintained accommodation which lots of thoughtful generous extra touches. Plenty of options for kids to be entertained away from screens. Gorgeous views and all the amenities you could need. Deb is a wonderful host and a wealth of knowledge. A great stay in nature for any overworked/stressed city folk. Can’t wait to come back another time. Highly recommend
Remote enough to get away from it all close to sample the wonderful parts of the area.
Deb was a wonderful host and the children waited excitedly each morning to assist her with the animals.
The home was very well equipped and we did not want for anything. Well perhaps not the frosts but that was out of Deb's control!!
Booked this for a weekend trip with my mum for her birthday and it was amazing. Deb is the perfect host, great with communication and very helpful with ideas of what to do in the area. We were lucky enough to have two calves born in our first 12 hours on the farm and were able to get pretty close to them the next day when Deb took us a tour of the farm. Being able to bring the dog was the cherry on top. Couldn’t recommend more for those wanting to be around animals or catch a break in a relaxing environment
This bnb provided us with everything we needed and more. The location was beautiful and quiet, close to plenty of good quality wineries and Ballarat.
Our two daughters (9 and 7) loved staying at this bnb. They adored collecting eggs, feeding animals and leading Beauty out to graze each morning with Deb. They also loved the trampoline.
Our dogs were intrigued by the array of livestock, which they could see but not touch.
We will definitely stay here again if we can. Highly recommended.
From the moment we arrived we immediately fell in love with this place! It was the perfect place for us to unwind & do absolutely nothing other than relax & breath in the fresh, clean air while watching the kids charge & bounce around having a ball (the set-up's our idea of a kid's paradise!). The cottage was spotlessly clean & immaculately presented with everything you could need, plenty of blankets & the most comfortable king bed! Deb was so accommodating & made us feel so welcome. Our highlight would have to be the morning walks with Deb around the farm & seeing all the animals - We very much hope to be back again soon!
We had an amazing time sans technology at the farm. NYE under the stars catching shooting stars was so calming to the soul. Deb really tagged our kids 4 and 2 with animal feeds and pony walks each day. Kids collected fresh eggs, jumped away on the huge trampoline while watching cuckatoos, hand fed goats, ponies, sheep, chicken... Deb was so caring and loved all the chats with her and watching the night sky while we chatted.
Most of all, we four survived 3 days with strictly no surfing and it was a great joy for that!
We really enjoyed our time at the Pyrenees Farm Stay. Deb, our host is so friendly and hospitable that we felt we were staying with family. We went on a tour of the farm, helped bring in the horses and ponies while the mornings consisted of bacon and fresh eggs from the hens. The bed is a cloud and warm with an electric blanket which heats up fast on those colder nights. The farm is good for dogs too which has a very secure fenced off area. Good walking areas as well.As a novice astrophotographer, we couldn't have timed this stay more perfectly. Two very clear nights under a bortle two sky (very dark) was amazing. I took my first untracked photo of the Milky Way which was a sight to see in person. Excellent wi-fi connection via satellite means solid connectivity but this farm offers you a real opportunity to escape 'the everyday' and enjoy the animals. Very peaceful. I highly recommend Pyrenees Farm Stay. We will definitely be back.Deb - thank you.
The whole family had a great time at the Farmstay, especially the our preschooler, toddler and dog.
The farm animals were the highlight for the kids. They got to experience farm life first hand with a morning walk with Deb to collect eggs and feed the chickens, horses, goats, sheep and pigs. They loved meeting the dogs and cat as well on the farm. They also got to see the little lambs and calves this time of year too!
Nice walks around the property to take with the dog and plenty to do and see in the area. At night time - have a look outside at the stars. Perfect place for stargazing :)
Accomodation is nice, beds comfy, plenty of play equipment and secure area for the dog too. Lots of fresh eggs for dippy eggs and soldiers.
Big thanks to Deb for being so helpful and making us feel at home.
A Perfect First Farmstay – Exceeded All Expectations!
My partner and I planned a last-minute weekend getaway and chose Pyrenees Farmstay based on the glowing reviews - it not only met but surpassed all our expectations! Even arriving late at night, we were immediately made to feel welcome by Deb, who had thoughtfully warmed up the cottage for our arrival. Her genuine hospitality shone through from that very first moment. The accommodation was spotless, cozy and thoughtfully equipped—we especially appreciated the kitchen essentials like oil, salt, and a generous quantity of fresh free-range eggs and locally sourced bacon (which was so delicious we had to ask where she got it!). Our first evening was magical - breathing in the crisp country air under a spectacular canopy of stars. In the morning, we woke up breathtaking views of sunlit paddocks stretching towards majestic mountain ranges. We also thoroughly enjoyed the farm tour, where we met the horses, dogs, sheep, alpacas, and chickens. The horses were so friendly and it was so much fun feeding them carrots and apples that we had picked up from nearby Avoca. As Deb shared stories of farm life, we felt deep admiration and respect for her passion and resilience required in rural living. Throughout our stay, her customer service was impeccable, checking in periodically to ensure we had everything we needed. This experience delivered everything we could have wanted from a country escape - complete tranquility, stunning scenery, and authentic hospitality at its finest.
