Be perfectly positioned to take advantage of everything downtown Anchorage and the surrounding area have to offer, as you are just 15 minutes from the city center, 40 minutes from Alyeska Ski Resort, or two and a half hours from Seward/Resurrection Bay or Talkeetna/Denali. Return each night from your Alaskan adventure to the peaceful solitude of your cozy home-away-from-home, perhaps cooking in the beautifully appointed kitchen or simply ordering in. Either way, you can enjoy a drink while waiting for dinner by the fire in the fire pit, which takes advantage of the stunning views to the west while the sun is setting. After a long day of exploring, you'll have no worries about how you're going to sleep, knowing both queen-size beds are going to be "super" comfortable. No uncomfortable bars poking through a mattress for anyone on this trip. In the morning, the early risers can go for a walk or run right outside the door in one of Anchorage's safest and nicest neighborhoods. You can even explore the trails that lead into the Chugach Mountains, which are three minutes up the road.
