Nice hotel within reasonable walking distance of ICC Wales (although an umbrella is useful if it rains!). Lovely restaurant (breakfasts are particularly good!), quiet bar open indefinitely to residents and helpful staff. Thoroughly recommended.

We smelled the damp carpet along the stairwell and was informed that there was a recent burst pipe. Indeed, there was a sign about fresh paint. However, cheap air refresher was used to hide the smell which didn’t do a good job. Room is relatively clean but not enough plugs for our modern use. Very dated. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was really pleasant although not outstanding. Staff has been extremely helpful at check in and allowing us to park until 3pm after checkout as we were attending conference. We happened to check in when two coachful of international tourists arrived so we were not able to have dinner until they left after 8.30pm. Not fun when there is nothing else nearby to eat and ubereat took more than 1h over a weekend. Hotel is not bad for one trip but I will pass it for my next trip.

Really impressed with my stay at the hotel. Emma was excellent with our check in and going the extra mile delivering excellent customer service. The food from the bar at lunch time and the breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend to other people.

We were very pleased with our spacious room. The air con was a little too enthusiastic, so we switched it off. However, the dining room was freezing! We needed an extra layer there. It was a very warm week, so it needed to be on, just not quite as cold. The food was good, but our evening meal wasn't quite right at first. I have an intolerance to onions and despite informing the wait staff, the chef ignored the notes. This was soon rectified, but the mistake should not have been made. The staff were friendly and helpful. Near the motorway, so easy to travel from; the room was very quiet even though the hotel is on a busy main road. An enjoyable stay.
