A former palace, it’s the most beautiful hotel! The staff was helpful, friendly and professional. You have to try the delicious breakfast at least one day, because it’s in a lavishly decorated former ballroom. Very enjoyable stay!

The room was very small with a very large column in the middle…I don’t really think this room should be available to book…it was more like a cupboard. The window overlooks an escalator and did not open. The toilet was not clean when we arrived, which was very disappointing. However, the reception staff were helpful and the breakfast staff and area were nice. I wouldn’t return though 😐

The IKEA wardrobe felt out of place. Would have found more use from a low shelf and an exposed hanging rail and or hooks. Bathroom fittings could do with a replacement or thorough cleaning being noticeably corroded. Do not think it was worth paying extra for a private bathroom given the layout and lack of hooks or rails... The square outside can be a bit noisy at night, but as a consolation, the location is convenient with nearby access to Deak Ferenc ter and the airport bus.
