gorgeous! I strongly suggest hiking shoes! Giv eyourself 3+ hours to really do it right.
We did the loop counterclockwise. the east side gave good views of the city and valley. the west side (coming down) was a beautiful forest with wildflowers. it wasn't nearly as steep and rocky as some others have said.
