“As late as 8:30pm the apartment we booked had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Unmade bed, dirty towels, etc. We contacted the lady who had checked us in, only to be told that it wasn’t her responsibility to have the apartment cleaned but that she would try to find someone to do that. “The apartment is very nice and conveniently located near the Saint Francis Chapel. If you are driving to Assisi, it is better to park (Saba Giovanni Paolo II) in the public parking lot and walk to the apartment than to try and drive to the apartment. Driving is Assisi is very difficult and almost no parking near the apartment.”

“We had a wonderful stay in Julia’s apartment in the Quadrilatero neighborhood of Bologna. It is a charming apartment and pleasant (short) walk to many of Bologna’s attractions, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. As other guests have noted, because the apartment is in the heart of the Quadrilatero and above lively restaurants, there is a lot of noise at night and in the mornings so I would highly recommend earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Thanks to Julia for her patient and timely directions...
