"Negatives; 1. Last 30 metres of climb to the property was extremely steep. 2. The bed (a pull our couch) was the hardest that we have ever experienced. 3. The owner/host spoke zero English. 4. She showed us an unacceptable small unit, which we declined, until showing us a larger one with a view (which we had paid for). 5. "The staff was very friendly and amazing upon arrival. They gave us good information as well as provided us with a map. The air-conditioning was nice and cool. The rooms stood tend to keep all of the loud volume away. The only unfortunate thing that we would have to say is that the breakfast was not up to par the coffee was served cold on another day. The water for the tea was cold as well. The water in general was never cold and the yogurt was a liquid concentration."

"This hotel was our favourite during our 2 week trip in Italy. The hotel was unique with art everywhere, old beams, and historic elements. Our room was lovely with an antique wardrobe and 2 big paintings of Bologna. Directly out our window were arches and the high tower of the church. Spectacular!!! The staff were amazing...helped us make reservations for dinner at one of the best restaurants in Bologna ... Franco Rossi."
