The beds had a definite hammock effect - - they need to rotate the mattresses once in a while. Peeling paint and filthy pillows inside clean pillowcases were lesser problems. The welcoming staff member was very friendly and informative. The water was hot and the pressure was great. The bedsheets were clean. The carpet was not. The pillows were small and too few. It was unfortunate that the ice machine was broken. It was a quiet, safe area. We enjoyed our stay overall. Loved the national monument. There are only a handful of rooms here and our stay was very quiet. One of the beds did seem to be broken near the head of the bed (when you put weight on that corner the rest of the mattress seemed to lift off the floor but it was easily solved by flipping around and sleeping with my feet towards the head of the bed.)
