“Transport to and from the hotel was quite expensive so we ended up renting a car. We stayed in the Mirrorcube and both the sunset and sunrise could be seen from our window in, which was absolutely stunning with a view over the treetops. Only disappointment was the dinner, we paid extra to have a two course dinner and it didn’t quite live up to our expectations. The portions were quite small as well. We greatly enjoyed taking photos of the outside of each of the buildings as they really are……

“We have booked a two bedroom suite for our two nights in Tromsø. We were told that we have been updated to a three bedroom suite when we checked in. When the hotel staff took us to the room we realise it is actually an apartment close to 1km away from the hotel with various slopes we immediately realise that there will be issues when we check out as two of us are carrying four heavy luggages. “Prachtig huisje met alles wat je ervan verwacht en nodig hebt. Prima inrichting, lekkere bedden en werkelijk prachtige locatie. 5-sterren ontbijt! Zelfs een zeehond pal voor de deur. Wel een afgelegen locatie, in het laagseizoen is het restaurant dicht en zijn er geen andere restaurants openin de buurt. Dus vooraf even informeren is het advies. “Reservamos um quarto duplo com cozinha e estava tudo muito limpo, diversos utensílios na cozinha para uso, armários espaçosos na entrada com cabides, produtos de higiene e para nossa surpresa havia uma máquina de lavar e secar roupas no banheiro (algo que não lembrava de estar na descrição) e foi ótimo! O quarto nas fotos parece pequeno, mas na realidade é bem espaço, acomoda muito bem um casal, deixando espaço para bagagens sem atrapalhar a circulação. A localização é boa, 20 minutos andando……
