It sleeps four but there were only two of us so we had ample space and a sofa each!Very well stocked kitchen and really nice welcome pack.Can't remember the last time we slept so well thanks to the comfortable bed and blackout blinds in the bedroom.Spacious and powerful shower with plenty of hot water.Very, very good WiFi signal.Very good, private hot tub"

"The lodge had more or less everything you need .It is in a lovely place and Windermere is only 30 minutes drive and the village of Grange over Sands 10 mins thou it is very quiet there and not very big but lovely cafe to have a drink in .I am sure we will be back again in the future.Thank you"

"First time in Herdwick Lodge after visiting Meadows End four times now. The lodge was amazing, spotlessly clean with all the essentials needed. Very spacious with 2 double bedrooms both ensuite and a well equipped kitchen. Log burner warms up the place nicely on the chilly evenings. Hot tub in a very private position and can be accessed easily from one of the bedrooms or main door, nice to sit in and stare at the stars. Of course you have Cartmel village within easy walking distance which we...
