“I stayed at this hotel for three nights at the end of August 2025. The hotel has a private car park with plenty of spaces. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room and en-suite bathroom I was allocated were clean and both very well equipped. The bed was comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.”

“What a little gem of a guest house this is, just yards from the shore of Lake Windermere opposite the marina and just a 20 minute walk from Bowness ( or a couple of minutes max by car ! ) Owners Susanne and Glenn are lovely warm friendly hosts and are very welcoming and more than happy to give you any help needed with info on the local area. The guest house is bright and beautifully clean with a slightly 'chintzy' decor, but at least it has character rather than the sterile corporate identikit...
