“The facilities were beautiful and the staff was very helpful and friendly.”

“The gentleman that checked me in was super friendly and courteous. The rooms were decent enough. I just needed a place to sleep and shower. Did not spend a lot of time in the room while visiting. I passed on the breakfast offerings all three mornings. The property itself is very dated and the stair carpets were in need of replacing. It looked like they were in the process of moving some new stuff in so perhaps things will be improving soon. I probably wouldn’t stay there again though.”

“Love Anchor Inn especially the views, balcony, piers, and the pool and fire pits. Breakfast this year much improved over our September 2005 stay. Please fix the railing onto the balcony in room 158.”

“This is an older beach town. Most of the properties are older motels. I think that is very quaint though. Very pet friendly. Very nice staff. The coffee shop right next door excellent!!!”

“I liked the 1800’s vibe with all the antique furniture and decor. The bar and restaurant are above average but can be a bit too noisy as it is full of local regulars.”

“The scenery is nice, but there were nuisance calls in the middle of the night, and then the front desk knocked on our door, waking us up, asking if we needed tissue. Didn't sleep well.”
