"The hotel is a credit to the owner in every respect. My wife and I were on holiday to sample various areas of Germany. All staff were most welcoming and helpful. We only had one evening meal there but it was outstanding, and we have eaten in many fine restaurants around the world. It was the first stop on our holiday and it could not have been better. "This house is lovely. It was in a perfect place for where we needed to be. This property is perfect for a family with young children. Because the beds upstairs are for young children not for adults. It was difficult getting in and out of the bed upstairs because I am 50\. We loved watching the birds outside the windows. It is a sweet cabin. We wish they had a clothes dryer"

"The Schall family were wonderful. Everything was provided for an easy stay and if I needed anything, I just had to ask. Access to Wetzlar, Solms, and Braunfels is quick and easy with a 5 minute walk to the bus stop or a 10 min walk to the train station. No need to have a car.I will definitely rent this apartment again when I am back in the area."

"Very good, hosts very friendly apartment spotlessly clean very comfortable bed and very quite would highly recommend the only thing I would comment on is that I thought charging to use the pool albeit to use it privately was not great I think it would have been better to say you can use the pool at particular times and all apartments have the use of it but if people want to use it privately at bookable times they can for a fee but as we were not too bothered about using the pool it wasn’t a big problem- the hot tub however is free to use ! "

"This was by far the most unique and cool place I’ve ever stayed. The room we booked was for large groups and it was the entire tower you see in the picture. There are a lot of stairs and it is a stone spiral staircase. Smaller rooms are also available in the other part of the castle but I did not see them because there was another guest. The owner is the one doing the renovation and it’s not completely finished yet but the rooms that he has finished are stunning. Looks and feels like a medieval castle. Germany has rules about modern luxuries when restoring castles so some things like the shower and toilet are unique but completely functional. The hosts were extremely helpful answering questions about the town and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was great both days and they had it ready early since we told them we had an early morning train to catch. Downtown is very walkable and old town is definitely worth the trip. So many quaint Biergartens. Simply an amazing find. "
