We had the odd luxury of staying in every room due to an unexpected extension in Potenza and the warmth and kindness of the owners and the community surrounding them during our stay here exceeded any expectation. "This is an amazing family owned and family run hotel…we met the whole family and they are amazing! Great hotel…beautiful grounds…great pool…and amazing restaurant/food…find an excuse to go to Potenza so you can stay there!"

"Communication was a real problem. I wonder if staff were discouraged from trying to understand English. My Italian came from Google translate and even that was a disaster. Staff generally not friendly or helpful. Did not offer to assist bags up or down the hotel steps for guests in their senior years. WiFi practically useless. Kept dropping out
