the views of the Acropolis are stunning. The large wrap around balcony was very nice to sit and enjoy the sites. You literally walk across the street and you are in Plaka with shops and the hop on buses and outdoor dining and hamnam’s and literally everything you came for. A mesmerizing stroll and you’re in Monastiraki Square. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was handy! The bathroom is okay. a little dated but didn’t slow me down. Finding the door to access the room was a bit tricky for this jet lagged girl but with a little help from my Greek friends I made it! Definitely recommend and would stay again!!

Location is great, view is amazing. Pictures were outdated. The biggest issue was the shower, the shower head could not be hooked and part of the glass on the shower was missing so you had to be careful not to spray the shower head. You had to hand hold the shower head in order to shower.

The apartment felt a little run-down. Several cabinet hinges were already damaged, and one of the shower screen glass panel was missing too, so water leaked out on the floor during showers. On the plus side, the view of the Acropolis was great, and it was very convenient to have a pizza shop and a convenience store downstairs. The location was also within a short distance of the Acropolis.

Perfect location/views..

This place is 11/10 for location and views, I am a seasoned traveller and that view from the penthouse balcony was breathtaking. The location is so central to all the major sites and restaurants and transport …the decor is not what a penthouse tag would spring to mind BUT the location/views make up for any decor and ultimately that’s what you come to Athens for ..

Dit appartement is echt ideaal gelegen, met uitzicht op de tempel van Zeus en de Akropolis. Zeer ruim en goed uitgerust. Inrichting is mooi (met houten en marmeren vloeren bijvoorbeeld). Het onderhoud is misschien even geleden, maar de prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding is geweldig.

Almost everything was absolutely perfect. The location, the view, the check in, the ammenities, the apartment as a whole was great. The only thing I would give a negative comment about is the shower. It’s small, awkward, cant flush toilet paper, the shower screen doesn’t cover the whole shower and the worst part.. all of us burnt ourselves in the shower. Be very careful when showering, the tap becomes very hot and will leave a burn if touched, which is easy to do because it’s so small. There should be a warning. Otherwise, everything else is perfect.

The view from the terrace is incredible and goes a long way in making up for the apartment's shortcomings. That said, the listing photos are misleading; the actual condition of the unit is much more worn down. It was clean enough to get us through three nights, and the price is reasonable for the location, but I highly recommend the host update the photos to manage guest expectations. Had I known the true condition, I would have chosen other accommodations.
