What a fabulous villa with the most spectacular views. The pool area is particularly gorgeous with 3 of the bedrooms having doors which open directly to the patio.It is an upside down villa with the living areas on the upper level. We particularly liked the sun room and terrace on this level.The spiral staircase was awkward to negotiate if carrying something, but an easier alternative was to go around the outside. There are many steps, also from the road to the front door, so not suitable for those with restricted mobility.You need a car, but there are plenty of shops and restaurants in nearby Laurium. This was a lovely town with an authentic Greek feel.We drove into Athens as well as to Delphi and thoroughly enjoyed the sites.This is a good base, handy for the airport.A couple of the bathrooms are a little tired, but this in no ways compromised our enjoyment of the property.Marios is a fabulous host. Nothing was too much trouble, and he gave plenty of recommendations for eating places, parking in Athens etc.
