Unable to order dinner at 8.48pm despite being told kitchen open til 9pm..we only arrived at 8.20pm ..& waited quite a while to be booked in as no one manning reception. Rang the bell 3 times & went to bar area twice to ask for a staff member to book us in. Lift had a dog smell on second day. "Overall, a good hotel in Galway, situated in the Salthill Promenade, directly across from the ocean. Hotel is getting dated. Restaurant options are limited and you need to walk another 5-10 mins to find anything else. Rooms are small-ish but not terrible. No AC. Parking is easy and ample available. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Pool is small but fine for kids. Swim caps are required."

"Room was clean, has air-conditioning, which was extremely nice and the restaurant downstairs was good as well. The breakfast in the morning was nice also, included a lot of different options. The hotel was a tiny bit outside of everything in town so we took cabs & Uber but this was a good trade-off for us as we preferred the nicer stay compared to what was offered right in town"

"Breakfast was next level awesome-- my parents wanted to experience the "full Irish breakfast" before leaving Ireland and the Lady Gregory solidly came through! Each was pleased b/c they had traditional and even a vegan full Irish! Also, we ordered dinner from the restaurant and the food was incredible. Even had the specific whiskey my husband was looking for."
