Clean spacious one-bedroom apartment with fully stocked kitchen, roomy bathroom and super comfortable bed. Tight parking garage but extra spaces outside if you’re driving a large vehicle. Very large TVs, comfortable patio. Excellent communication with hosts. We’d be very happy to stay here again.

Very disappointing anniversary stay. Parking was advertised as limited, but the alternative parking was also scarce and poorly monitored, with guests taking multiple spaces. Twice we had to park on the street, once paying for parking. We were also not told this was an apartment complex, a significant safety consideration in Memphis. We received only TWO towels for four nights, and every towel smelled sour. After requesting more the night before, we had to rearrange reservations and wait the next day. Management responded that we hadn’t paid enough for a butler. I was requesting clean towels, not luxury service! The additional towels left outside in a plastic box were also sour and unsanitary. We were required to sign an additional third-party contract despite contacting Expedia beforehand and being advised this should not be necessary. We felt we had no choice upon arrival. Other issues included unlocked windows, thick dust on the fan, a bathtub that wouldn’t drain (leaving us standing in dirty water), and a toilet requiring plunging after nearly every use. Between the sanitation, security, maintenance, misleading listing details, and management’s response, this property fell well below reasonable standards. Our anniversary trip was unnecessarily disrupted. I would not recommend staying here.

I'm giving this 3 stars because of a mix of good and bad. The good: The apartment was nice, spacious and well furnished. The beds were comfortable and a good size. We couldn't hear the neighbors next to us or above us (although that could be because they weren't home). The parking garage was secure and we didn't have trouble finding a spot close to our room. The place was only a few minutes drive from downtown/Beale St. The bad: The dryer was broken and clearly had been for quite some time. Which was a shame because we were planning on doing laundry. Shouldn't be allowed to advertise washer/dryer when it's not functional. The toilet leaked when flushed. Luckily there was a second toilet in the unit. It's unknown if this one was ever fixed, as no one fixed it in the 2 days we were there. The one bedroom has a bright light right outside the window that stays on all night. The blinds do not adequately block out the light. If you like sleeping with a night light, you're in luck. The other bedroom has windows that block out zero noise. You will hear every car that drives by on the street, that is only a few feet away. If you like sleeping with white noise, you're in luck. The appliances are outdated. Not a big deal, but they are out of the 1990s. Overall, if you're looking for a place to stay near downtown with 2 beds and you're a deep sleeper, this place is nice. If you're planning on using the laundry and kitchen a lot, I'd look elsewhere.
