Very comfortable with comfy bed, TV, bathroom and with heating

The rooms are beautifully decorated and the pub/hotel has a lovely oldie world feel to it. The surroundings were very peaceful. The service was also faultless - when we asked for a couple of things to be changed in the room it was done immediately. The Walnut Tree was excellent value for what we paid. The only reason I have not given five stars is that the room was a little chilly when we arrived - but that resolved, and one mattress in our twin room (ref to landlord – the one nearest the window) could have done with a topper or updating. But that is not to denigrate what is a really lovely hotel for a great price.

Stayed here for 2 nights for my birthday. Hotel is lovely! Room was clean and had everything we needed, nothing was too much hassle for the staff. Best breakfast we probably ever had, so much variety. We also had dinner which was outstanding. Spa and club facilities were great too. Will definitely be returning

We had a great welcome and were shown to our fabulous room. Spacious and well decorated, it had a great spread of tea and coffee with real milk in the fridge! Comfortable bed and new, good quality bedding. Plenty of drawers and hanging space. Sofa and desk for daily activities. Tha bathroom had the best walk in shower setting we have seen so far! Great pub with excellent food and drinks selection. But what it made it really special was the staff, customer service was really excellent, and provided with a smile.

This is the fourth time we have visited the Hotel, Staff are very friendly room as nice, the only thing that lets the hotel down is the breakfast buffet no choice of eggs, mass Produced cooking items much Preferred the menu where you Ordered breakfast
