A beautiful and historic property set in the most beautiful and quirky gardens. The pool is great, secluded & plenty of sun beds. The rooms were stunning, lots of special extra touches all in keeping with the style of the property and the local area. Breakfast was served on tables on the terrace overlooking the flowers and with birds singing as entertainment. There was plenty of choice and lots of the locally made jams and cheeses to try. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. We ended up staying an extra night! There was secure onsite parking and we rented bikes to explore the local area. The hosts and grounds were lovely! So convenient having breakfast made available in the morning. Made great dinner reservations for us in town. They didn't seem to prepare for us as we had to clean the outside furniture to sit and have a glass of wine. The fellow running the place was pleasant and very accommodating. The property itself was absolutely stunning and rich with history. Despite the strong Mistral winds, we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The room was gorgeous and always kept clean, the breakfast service in the morning was delicious and friendly (Emmanuelle and Cyrille always asked how you were and what your plans were for the day), and the amenities were readily accessible at all times.
