"Lovely property near to many local amenities, better suited to a family with children rather than 6 full size adults, not because it’s small but just the logistics of seating/lounging/eating. Great garden and outdoor space, loads of hot water for everyone! "

"Super beautiful and spacious home more than suitable for a large family gathering. Beautiful surroundings and great facilities. Lovely bedrooms, plenty of space to sit and relax. Felt our stay was above and beyond. "

"No communication about how to get in until I asked so we were stuck outside for half an hour. It was freezing when we got in. Put the heating on straight away and it took about 5 hours to warm up as many of the windows need replacing and two of them are so broken they won't shut. The whole place has a cheap feel, bad bedding, not enough pillows, fridge noisy. I'm glad we only had one night booked. It was fairly clean. Lots of things offered on the website didn't exist, like printer or internet...

"Aanrader. Een leuk huis met voldoende voorzieningen en een fijne serre vanwaar je uitkijkt over de gloeiende heuvels. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk. Enig minpunt was voor ons het bed. Dat vonden wij niet zo comfortabel (erg kort en erg zacht), maar dit hoeft uiteraard niet voor iedereen een probleem te zijn. "

"We were pretty disappointed as we were expecting a bit more of an experience from this stay, and the price that we paid.
Having thought we had booked a “Cell” room, it was evident we hadn’t and were told we needed to specifically select that on booking, though this wasn't clear at all on booking.
Having paid quite a high price, the room was a glorified premier Inn room. We were on a stay with friends who had booked as cell room, having paid quite a bit more than us, who had some real issues with cleanliness in their room. While this wasnt our experience, there was a lack of amenities. Described in the room we had booked were coffee/tea maker aswell as a kettle, however we did only have a kettle. We paid over £250 just for a pretty standard room, no breakfast included - this was an extra cost, as well as parking also being charged extra as only valet parking was offered. We paid £35 for parking, & although being told we would have unlimited access to the car, this was parked out of sight. When my partner requested access to his car to retrieve something, her was told he would have to wait for someone to get it, and that he wouldnt be able to go with them to get it. They proceeded to ask where abouts to find the item, however my partner felt very uncomfortable with the idea of having to explain where said item was.
Although an interesting hotel, we feel the stay really was not worth what we paid. We did express this on checkout, but staff didnt take much notice. "
"There was a wedding party in the main hall which was so noisy that it was hard to sleep and also had to pay for parking when we're staying over at the hotel"
"Stayed as we had an early flight the night day.
Unfortunately our room had a connecting door, and from 4am our neighbours spoke very loudy so we all felt awful the following morning.
We booked a family room for 4 of us, but only had towel and mugs for 2 and when I asked for extra mugs was told I could only have 2!
Breakfast was ok.
Also a note for future guests. There is no complimentary water and the vending machine is very confusing to use, so we nipped to the petrol station over the road."
