“We spent a week at a cozy cabin near Waubun, MN, on Elbow Lake, and it was a fantastic experience. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We did encounter a small issue with the septic system, but the owner responded promptly and went above and beyond by offering a large refund for the inconvenience without us even asking. Their attentiveness and accommodation made our stay even better. Highly recommended!”

“Absolutely perfect stay on Big Turtle Lake. The cabin was cozy and modern, exactly as it says. We brought a small fishing boat and the dock was fabulous. It was a hot couple of days and the air conditioning worked so well. And the beds were so comfortable! I never expect to sleep well away from home but I actually slept better than at home. “There is nothing about this place that isn’t absolutely beautiful in every way. The home was unique and so comfortable, decorated and finished with such care. The location, so remote and quiet. The 360°views from the upstairs deck, numerous windows or just walking around the carefully landscaped yard were amazingly beautiful! “Quaint little cabin with comfortable beds and apprexiated the pull-out couch which had a comfortable mattress. The host laura is so sweet and very communicative and helpful. Has a great sandy area and water is shallow for a log way out with sandy bottom, which would be great for kids who want to swim. We swam, fished (put our boat at dock) and used the nice paddle boat provided. My boys caught bass, bluegills, northern, and perch. ”

“The cabin was cozy with a nice view of the lake. The cabin was very clean! The swim beach was disappointing to us because it was weed-free a little way out, but past our waist there were too many weeds for us to tread water. Sheila (the host) was informative and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. ”
