"If I could give this place less than zero stars for service, I would. The hotel and the facilities are beautiful, and the food is good. However, the service in every area is beyond terrible.
The staff won’t even look you in the eye, and they seem annoyed by the simplest questions. It feels like they are used to tourists coming regardless of how poorly they are treated, probably because of the large number of cruise passengers who visit.
The transportation within the resort is horrible. The drivers are extremely rude, unfriendly, and treat guests with no humanity whatsoever. We were traveling with a 6-month-old baby, and they wanted us to walk several blocks because they simply did not want to take us where we needed to go.
They do not seem to care about complaints because the managers protect the staff, and everyone covers for each other. It feels like a system that allows this poor treatment of guests to continue.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE, NO MATTER HOW BEAUTIFUL IT MAY BE. Service is the most important part of staying at a hotel, and the treatment we received was unacceptable.
Driver Henry was especially horrible. He treated us unfairly and kept us riding around the shuttle throughout the resort because he did not want to drop us off at our building. Even though we were carrying a 6-month-old baby in our arms, he simply refused to do his job. The service experience at this resort was terrible in every area."
