Opened in 1841 as part of the London to Brighton railway line, this amazing piece of architecture spans 1470 feet and containing 37 arches, it is probably the most elegant viaduct in Britain. 

With a footpath leading straight beneath it, access is easy and of course, there are plenty of photo opportunities.

Bathroom was wet-bath style but worked ok. Touch-pad light, heating/cooling, and blind controls worked fine and if you have smartphone, check-in, digital entry key, and check-out all worked fine, thought elevators were sometimes picky with the smartphone digital key to allow access to floors that rooms were on. Would stay again for overnight, but probably not more than one night."
