Book Ballymote Bed & Breakfast

"We had a deluxe king with a river view that was very spacious and comfortable. We celebrated my husband’s 50th while there and received a nice card and chocolates in the room upon arrival. Robes and slippers provided. Hotel is close to all shopping and restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful. Underground Parking on site for low fee of 4 Euros per day. Great included breakfast in the morning that had many options. Only con was the shower head that was in desperate need of descaling. "

"This is a hard review to write - because the people working here are so kind, helpful, friendly, and wonderful. That said - our stay felt like a horror movie setup. First - the parking isn’t open so you have to park in a cramped garage across the street at a discount, but the garage never gave us a ticket as the gate was stuck open when we arrived. Only one small elevator “worked” but even still, the floors it took you to didn’t match the buttons - and two of the floors seemed like they shouldn’t be open to the public (a dark basement and a floor that seemed to be a work space?). Then of our three rooms only one had an operating thermostat as it’s locked with a code that the staff didn’t have available. It is walkable though and has lovely staff. I’m sure it will be great once renovations are complete. "

"Really loved our night, excellent information from host. Fixed a meal up as no close by venues plus after driving in the rain most of the day we didn't want to go out that night. Room spacious well supplied. Excellent breakfast Easy to find using sat nav Lovely to see the lambs playing in the paddock next door"

"Just back from a 3 day stay at Murphy's Hotel. The Hotel its self is small and spread over two floors. We stayed in room 16 on the first floor. The room was spotless and large with a double and a single bed. The bathroom was lovely with a great shower and toiletries supplied. However the really outstanding part of our stay was the food. We had breakfast and dinner there each night. The breakfast was especially nice and was prepared fresh and served to the table. The dinner menu was the same each evening, but had ample choice. Every meal we had was lovely and again served fresh to the table. Another great feature of the hotel is the staff. All were very helpful and attentive, We would highly recommend this hotel and we will stay again. "
