We were able to change the room to a slightly updated one (no smell!!) but very noisy since both the hotel and the plaza in front of the hotel are in full renovations. The noise and renovation should be mentioned through the booking process, mostly since all materials are carried through the main lobby and guest elevators. "We booked 2 AC Rooms back in March for 2 days. When we arrived, the staff looked surprised we are there until we showed the reservation and the receipt.
