Absolutely amazing! My Wife and I loved everything about Sausage Tree. The staff, game drives, food, and tents were all great!

We stayed at the suite and were delighted with the accommodations. The game drives were insanely interesting and the guides were top notch! Although it is a closed reserve, it is big enough to get a real sense of being in the wild, and you are almost guaranteed to see the big 5 (minus the leopard if you're not lucky, we were!) The animals almost don't notice you and behave naturally, a truly amazing experience!

Very attentive staff and great accommodations! There isn’t much to do after morning safari so make a plan for that.

There's nothing around and that's good. You need to drive down back roads for twenty minutes or so before you go through a series of security gates which help keep the animals in/out. If you come through late in the evening after the sun goes down you can see an amazing dark sky. The staff is very friendly, room was comfortable but be careful ordering the dinner...it ended up costing us more than our room :)

This was our first time in South Africa and our very first safari experience. We received a warm welcome from the very hospitable staff at Moditlo Lodge. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have all the amenities that you would need to stay comfortable. The location gives you the perfect sense of staying close to a safari while being pampered in the luxury of a rustic lodge. They even had a bonfire on Saturday night which was the perfect time to enjoy some interesting steaks and wines while...
