We had a fantastic stay at AM Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The villa is beautiful, comfortable, and provides the perfect setting to relax and unwind. What made our stay especially memorable was the amazing staff. Everyone was so warm, friendly, and welcoming, always going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Their genuine kindness and hospitality made us feel right at home. A huge thank you to Origin and Carl for our game drives – and for not giving up until we finally found the rhino! Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and determination made the experience unforgettable. We’d also like to thank Charity for being the hostess with the mostest and taking such wonderful care of us throughout our stay. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so special.

Not a Lodge worth its price. The space is nice, an immersion in the savanna. Three meals are included (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and the food is good, but options are very limited — just one choice per meal (à la carte). Despite being all-inclusive, we saw no snacks or extra meals offered during the stay. The bar has variety and is open all day, but no one is stationed there — you always have to call someone over. Drinks are generally bad: the mojito tastes like Sprite, and the piña colada is made with orange juice. As a resort-style property in the savanna, the infrastructure is weak. There's nothing to do besides the pool, which was very dirty, with live insects swimming in it — dangerous given the setting. The safari guide seems invested in helping you spot the Big Five (but only them), and strongly hints during game drives for an extra tip at the end. The airport transfer, charged separately per person per leg, is very expensive, and they set random pickup times — I ended up 3.5 hours early for my flight, at a small airport with nothing to do. Staff service, except management, was always attentive and pleasant — worth a 3/10 on its own, but not enough to justify the price. Their "new hotel" excuse doesn't hold up, since they've been open almost 4 years.

The room was beautiful and we had the best of times with the game drives and evry event they organised for us. The staff is really good and made us feel the most comfortable.

Has to be one of the best places on earth! The location is incredible, accommodation so clean and comfortable, staff so attentive and obliging. Food is tasty and plentiful. Our guide was super-knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The second time we have visited. It won’t be the last!
