Quaint stay with a very warm & helpfull staff. Definitely a thumbs up.

Sivatel was a great first stay in Bangkok. It was close enough to the hustle and bustle, but shortly down a side street so was quiet. Next time I’d probably stay closer to the Siam Mall (25 min walk) since I spent the most time around that area, but for most it would be a very central location to go most places. The room was nice and spacious with a living area and a king bed in the bedroom, and a walk in closet. Housekeeping was not as attentive to detail as we have had at other establishments, not scrubbing the toilet or wiping out the sink well each day. They did dry the shower well everyday. Dragon, the evening door man was awesome but everyone else was just ok, we had our laundry done twice with the day staff, neither time did they bring it up to our room, so we carried 10kg of laundry after a long day of sightseeing. (It’s ok, no tip was left because of this) Breakfast: was definitely catered to westerners. There was a Thai dish and noodle option that rotated each day. Also an Indian option. A few dim sum options. The rest were regular western breakfast. The breakfast host was awesome and very kind. I can’t remember his name. I would recommend this hotel, it was a central location and overall a good experience.

This is a fabulous hotel. The property is beautiful, you feel secluded in the midst of Bangkok and they have amazingly comfortable beds. The staff is great and very friendly. Spa services we also amazing (not owned by the hotel but in the building) and we’re very affordable. Highly recommend this property!

The breakfast need to increase the quality, especially the bakery and pastry, need more choice, the coffee from the coffee machine is not hot enough, and the coffee should be better. The room is excellent, except the shower and the bath tub is too crowded. The room need a stand for the luggage storage. Overall, the comment is excellent.
