Very modern Thai/Asian architecture 5/5 Receptionists can barely speak a word of English 1/5 If you arrive before 3pm and want to check in 500baht 1/5 Restaurants are very good Thai/Japanese Sushi 5/5 Its more a hotel for local Thai travelers than for international travelers, so there will be language issues if you ask a single question without a translator of some sort.

Hotel is very nice. Staff very nice. Good very good. Location was not as convenient as originally thought. Some taxis didn’t even know where it was. Should try to add shuttle service to their amenities.

12 The Residence is a viable option for staying near DMK airport. Breakfast is good, staff helpful, the rooms fine (we stayed there twice: the first room was missing part of the shower door, it appears). The biggest issue is the Airport Shuttle: It does not pick up and actually delivers a bit away: you have to go up ramp, and walk a bit).
