"I’ve stayed here many times, but something has changed with their wifi access. It’s set up to take your cell number and send an access code by text. Unfortunately, the system only accepts Chinese cell phone numbers. I tried explaining this to the desk manager, but it wasn’t being understood. If you stay here, be prepared to have someone come to your room with their Chinese cell phone in order to get you online, or just stay at Crown Plaza next door and skip the hassle. "

"The hotel is in good condition and is a great value. It is in the heart of downtown Hefei. The building and rooms felt new, and the rooms were quite spacious. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly but English communication was limited. The breakfast was mostly Chinese. In March 2018 there was a lot of construction in the area - it didn't affect us once we were actually in the hotel, but the street was a little difficult to walk down.
