A Perfect Location and Great Service…

The hotel is perfectly located less than a block away from a Metro station, that, via transfers, can take you almost anywhere in Barcelona extremely easily and cheap. (The subway system is very easy to use and figure out, even if you dont speak the language). Walking from the hotel, you can get to the Sagrada Familia in less than 20 minutes, and Park Guell in about 40 (although it's a fairly uphill walk). You can get to the city center in about 40 minutes if you decide to walk. Check out is at noon, but the hotel will safely hold on to your luggage for you after noon. This was a great service and allowed us to visit 3 more sights in the city before we left at sunset. Hotel duquesa de cardona gave us outstanding service. The staff was always very kind and welcoming. The hotel is very beautiful and extremely clean. The rooms are gorgeously decorated, and are not like the typical hotel rooms. The decor of the hotel and rooms is contemporary elegant mixed with modern. The terrace has an amazing view of the bay with the harbour. The location of this hotel is prime, right across from the bay and close to restaurants and the downtown area. Our Catholic Church, The Basilica of Mercy was around the corner. We spent hours in the terrace using their swimming pools. They are smaller than in resort hotels of other countries but they were fun for little ones of ages 7 and 9, and for young adults and older people. The terrace restaurant is beautiful and the service is the best. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Barcelona. Amazing hotel!! The entire experience was great for us and really a great way to start our trip. We stayed for two nights, highly recommend including the breakfast at the rooftop with amazing panoramic views of the ocean and the city. Metro station is a 10-15 min walk and can be used to access other parts of the city. We took taxis on our night outs to come back to the hotel! Would come back!…
