Property was conveniently located to highway travel. There was very little outdoor lighting at night, hard to see steps, gate situation was a pain getting in and out! Felt like a prison. No convenient electrical outlets. Couldn’t get heat very warm. Plumbing was not great. Staff we’re not very friendly and not at all helpful. Staff were noisy at night and early in the morning. The building and grounds were beautiful, and the breakfast was good once we figured out how to order on our phones, but I would not recommend this property. I would not stay here again.

It’s a beautiful property. Feels like old world,with a beautiful pool. There was a nice breakfast in the atrium. The staff is very nice. The spa services and outside bar/snack bar were not available

Have to use an app to order breakfast !!!!
Generally the smallish Hotel was good. But what completely spoilt it as a b&b was having to order the breakfast via an app!! With dodgy Wifi in my experience. Life is stressful enough without apps for breakfast! The poor waiter spent half his time sorting people’s phones out! No phone, therefore unable to order??? Need an extra slice of dry bread? Do it via the app! Ridiculous and just a bit laughable. Even the Italians there were laughing at it. Sorry but we will not be back…..

Despite the heavy train strike in Italy now the hotel refuse to refund my money, not only unfair but greedy and embarrassing for any respected establishment. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, no respect for tourism.

This is not a luxury hotel or 4-star Hotel as advertised. Despite being tucked right next to the Motorway, the house and the compound itself is quite nice and has potential. However the service, upkeep and cleanliness of the whole place needs improving. The rooms and bathrooms are dark, old, the bed and linen were old and uncomfortable. Staff can barely speak English and communication was exhausting, as it led to a lot of misunderstanding. Breakfast was also very limited. Dining in general is extremely limited.

Gorgeous historical building in industrial area
There is no restaurant and the food they can offer is extremely basic....a blonde toastie which I would do a million times better. It is easy to have some basic food options even on the minimal staff they are operating on. On the plus side the pool we thought and the garden was epic but my partner was eat alive by mosquitos on the beautiful balconies so be wary

The hotel and rooms were excellent, as was the service but the pool was dirty and needed cleaning - there was green slime growing on the walls and base of the pool and the outside tables had not been cleaned for weeks. The grass areas around the pool were neglected and the grass clearly had not been cut for weeks and was 200mm high.

The staff except one exception or two (breakfast waiter on the first day was accommodating. The second day worker was not much help: I was able to get fried eggs the first day but not the second day) The air conditioner did not cool the room. When they got it to work on the second night it was only a fan. We could not get much sleep on the first night since the room was too warm, Opening the window attracts bugs and mosquitoes. When we asked the first day for the front desk to activate the A/C, the manager had a very bad attitude and even implied that we pressed the wrong button. Very disrespectful and not accommodating. It seems they use a very complicated software to activate the A/C, and they take the liberty to shut it down when they want to. However, the lobby A/C works fine. Parking was convenient, but finding the property can be challenging the first time.
