“We really enjoyed our stay. Apartment had all we needed. It was really spacious and beds were extremely comfortable. Showers were fantastic. Security was second to none as Donald Trump was staying next door the weekend we stayed! Was fun to watch his motorcade go by the end of the road. Even had drones flying over and reporters doing live broadcasts on the lawn on the front of the development. Will definitely be back but don’t think Donald will be here next time.”

“The cottage is gorgeous, clean and comfortable. It's very dog friendly with a fully enclosed garden. It's in a good location, close to local amenities and the wonderful Kirroughtree Forest Park. We'll be back for our third stay next year. It's worth noting the best access road is up in front of the Kirroughtree House Hotel and not straight up through the Conifer Lodges past Auchendoon, as that particular road has large potholes that are difficult to navigate without bumping the underside of your……

“Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!”
