“Check in and check out process is easy. Staff are friendly and easily contactable should you need anything. The location is perfect for what we needed; a business trip for one of us to visit an office with the other needing to work from the apartment. Tesco is a short walk or two minute drive for picking up supplies. The WiFi connection is excellent. The bed is comfortable, with plenty of storage space in the bedroom. “The host cancelled my booking the day before I was due to book in because I use a walking stick and the room was on the middle floor. When I made the booking there was no mention on the booking page about about difficulties I may have. The reason given was not enough room on the expedia page. I was also refused a refund, which I find very disappointing as it was the host who cancelled my booking, not myself. Very disappointed allround.”
“Wonderful set up at The Lodge. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family break. All the mod cons, particularly liked the electric window blinds. Kitchen facilities was excellent and more than adequate. We also took our own coffee machine for that extra home comfort. Location was pretty central for the places we wanted to visit. Windermere was only 40 minutes away with stunning views of the country side on route. Hot Tube was a lovely touch and well maintainedAll in all a lovely break away……
