We stayed on our way home. You can tell they have been making renovations throughout with fresh paint, new flooring, etc. They mentioned the fun lights in the pool area along with toys. We had lots of fun in the pool area playing volleyball.

soap and shampoo in the shower were below par. did not suds.

Room was clean and the front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful when checking in and out. Will stay again!

The room was very clean and smelled nice. Staff was kind and accommodating. We were traveling with our dog and they loved her. We have stayed here a number of times during travel and it is a favorite for us.

There were ball tournaments in the area and hotel stays were pricing out at $260-350 a night and we weren't about to pay that amount. We were traveling and just needed to sleep so we were looking for clean and safe. That's exactly what we found. :) The hotel is not new but it was very clean and smelled wonderful. I've been in big chain hotels that were not nearly as clean. We travel a lot and Mariot or Holiday Inn Express are 2 of our favorites. There was no musty old carpet smell like you sometimes run across in hallways. We could tell the staff gives a lot of TLC and take pride in their work. We spoke with 2 staff members and both were very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend the Lantern and would stay there again in the future.
