Lovely clean hotel with leisure facilities. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only negative would be the “privacy screen” for the bathroom which you can still see round as the door is glass and privacy screen feature does not work on it. Not sure why this feature is necessary

Just stayed overnight while visiting relatives.The hotel is new so very clean. The restaurant is rather overpriced though so probably would not eat there again.

Bathroom floor was dirty. Rest of the room was clean. Good facilities and very helpful staff. Popular bar with live football. Good selection of drinks. Good gym and pool Nice overnight stay.

The room had coke can left under the bed and pubic hair was in the shower not happy so we keft went home the same day was nit happy paid 85 pound for the stay and that was for breakfast too

It was a very great hotel the staff care and are welcoming the food is okay can be cold which isn’t pleasant and can miss some items but the reception staff are amazing and resourceful. Personally there is an issue with disabled bay parking as people park without a badge making it extremely stressful and hard to find a blue badge holder bay other than this the staff are great

Friendly, clean, swim & six nations stop over.
Friendly, welcoming staff and easy check in. Car parking free. Six nations on large screens in bar with friendly, helpful staff. Pool warm (touch too warm to train in but good for a swim) clean steam room and sauna. Roomy jacuzzi. Large clean changing rooms with free lockers and towels. Booked a table for evening meal and relaxed in armchairs afterwards. Room well presented, decorated. Good breakfast. Recommend and will definitely stay in a Village Hotel again.

Good Hotel and Location
My 2night stay was very well received. Friendly staff, hotel was as you would expect from the Village Hotls, food was nice and the pool area was very relaxing. The Basingstoke hotel is close to the train station and shops, so very convenient.

Stay was ok , however there was no warning of The bar being shut to hotel guests until we got there to find out . Was a shame really as would have liked to enjoy a few drinks at the bar for New years Wve. All in all stay was comfortable

Room was really nice. Couldn't figure out how to turn off the floor light in the bathroom which lights up the room like a Christmas tree - covered with a few towels, problem solved. Loud music from the gym could be heard from the 4th floor a little too early.
