The house felt like home for a week. Great hosts, great staff, great food. A comfortable place in the jungle, away from it all. We were a lively group of eight, ranging in age from 16 to older than that, and everyone loved it. Dan (the chef) accommodated vegan and picky eaters and even made a fantastic dessert to celebrate a birthday. One of those trips that is hard to describe because it was an experience and a feeling. Rained some days but we still managed some fun journeys out, and celebrated Thanksgiving in a private lodge in the jungle. The weather doesn't matter when the place and the people are right.
