I was in El Campo for a wedding. Since the Lone Star Inn was recommended by the venue as a comfortable place to stay, I booked a room. I was very pleased with my stay. The room was clean, with plenty of fresh towels, the grounds were well maintained, the staff I enteracted with were friendly and helpful.

For what I would consider a budget hotel, it exceeded my expectations. It was clean the breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly. We had no issues here and have no problem staying here again if needed. The only negative I could add would be the smell of cleaning product. If you could find a scentless product it would be great.

Comfortable and clean beds. Good hotel for 1 night

We stayed one night while driving through Texas. Front desk staff was friendly. Plenty of parking spaces, clean and comfortable bed and pillows, clean bathroom. Only the carpet needs urgent cleaning and the TV did not work.

If you are looking for a clean, budget friendly place to stay then this is a good spot. No frills. I could have done without the extreme Lysol smell in lobby, I mean EXTREME, but fortunately I didn’t have to be there long.
