“The property itself was immaculate and up to date. Restaurants and shops were in a walking distance. We were disappointed with our “view” off our balcony, where we usually spend a lot of time. There are some buildings that are literally within 20 feet from the building/balcony that block the view and any breeze. Need to be at least on the 6th floor, if you are in the rooms facing Mandalay Avenue and want to use your balcony. We were on the 4th floor. They also need to check their beach……

“Super cute almost like a doll house. Awesome location. Clean,no bugs. Not recommended for tall people at all. We not super tall but I’m 5 8 and my husband and boys are 5 9 and 6 foot. We did keep hitting our heads on the ceiling because of the slant. I didn’t give it 5 stars because one it says sleeps 6 I don’t think if we had 6 people we would all fit and we almost did.And it’s pet friendly which was why we chose it there is nowhere to walk the dogs. “Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property. It is walking distance to public beach access, food and entertainment. We loved the filtered water in the sink; the included parking; the beach toys for our use; the washer/dryer; and of course, the amazing view of Clearwater Bay from the front porch. “Joe, the host, was so great to work with! His communication was above and beyond what is expected. The location is perfect for a short walk to the beach. The amenities were top notch! We appreciated the quality of the room; granite countertops, soft toilet paper, aloe vera sunburn lotion, a fan, coffee maker with coffee and beach chairs with an umbrella. “Our condo was one of the best we've had anywhere & we've been to almost all southern beaches. We were there for a family wedding, and were so pleased with the Avalon. Having chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, etc. that we could check out at the desk was a real plus. The parking garage had plenty of spaces for us. The Avalon was in walking distance of restaurants, beach shops & other stores plus there was the trolley. The only problem: we typically do a bit of cooking. The kitchen was VERY poorly……
