“When we arrived, there was a strong unpleasant smell because the rubbish in the kitchen had not been taken out. We also discovered skid marks left by previous guests in the toilet. After reporting these issues to the concierge, a cleaner was sent to address the problem. The property is very misleading compared to the photos advertised. In reality, it feels more like a repurposed office block than a serviced apartment. We booked a twin room but were not informed that the accommodation appeared……

“This is an excellent location, about 15-20 minutes outside of Galway. The room was clean, included two twins and was comfortable. We were on the top floor which was up two flights of stairs, only annoying when bringing the luggage in. There was parking for about 6-8 vehicles in the back, we didn't have trouble finding a space but the lot was full each morning. Breakfast started at 8:30am which wasn't an issue for us but was later than we expected. You order off the menu at the restaurant and it……

“This was a lovely large room in a stately home tucked away from the lively Salt Hill seaside promenade. Unfortunately we hit rush hour traffic as we approached. inching through the busy Salt Hill city center. We arrived during a rare heat wave. Like most accommodations in Ireland, there were was no AC or fans and no television. There was not a tea kettle in the room, but the house offered use of a large communal kitchen where some guests apparently cooked dinner (based on cleaned dishes drying……

“Hotel was very nice overall. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant / bar area was very nice, although the food itself was average at best. The staff was as helpful as possible. At night the girl serving as hostess was also the one who checked us in. Although the hotel wasn't in the heart of the main shopping, restaurant and pub area it was a quick taxi ride to get there. Parking on site was very convenient.”

“AMAZING location. Great for if you’re planning on hitting the town and want somewhere near night life and super walkable. Ambiance from the Latin Quarter was great. Saw reviews of it being too loud, but it was really quiet with the windows closed so not sure what that’s all about. Very nice staff and good continental breakfast. Absolutely would recommend”

“We booked for one night, and were looking forward to using the spa facilities. When we arrived, we were told that they were shut for refurbishment. Apparently, this work has been going on for some time. I was told an email had been sent out. I did not receive any email. The hotel has a duty to let people know such things, so they have a choice of changing their plans. I noticed a lot of unhappy people that weekend. They are not afraid to charge top prices, and yet offer very little in return.”
