We were so excited to find a dog-friendly option with a hotel bar, gym, pool, etc. We checked in with our dog next to us and the next day, we went out for lunch , leaving her in the room. About an hour into lunch I received a phone call from front desk staff "Bob". Bob asked me if we had a dog in our room which I said we did. He stated she had been barking when he was knocking on the door (you don't say). He asked where we were & I said we had stepped out for lunch. He responded, "I suggest you step back in and quiet your dog down". We arrived back at the hotel & I walked back and forth in front of our room to see if she would bark. She did not. I went down to the front desk & asked the person if he was Bob. He said yes. I told him my name & that he had called me moments earlier about our dog. He had no response other than "yes, I did". I was confused & asked if the dog was not allowed to be in the room & he said "did you not sign the pet policy?". I said no & he produced a form that was supposed to be signed upon check-in. I voiced my concerns with him about his tone when he called me. He scoffed & said "and what tone was that?", I told him I found him rude to assume we were breaking hotel policy when we had never been informed in the first place. Classic Bob responded with "I'm sorry you feel that way". We were treated extremely rudely for something that was missed by staff at check-in and completely ruined our experience. Beware of the Bobs of the world.
