Take a boat ride across emerald-green Königssee to see the iconic red-domed St. Bartholomä church nestled beneath towering mountains. Hike to Hitler's Eagle's Nest in Obersalzberg for panoramic Alpine views or explore the underground salt mines with their wooden slides.
I highly recommend this villa when staying in Upper Bavaria because of location, amenities, shower, room, breakfast, safety, cleanliness, and the owner. Sebastian and his wife were nice and super friendly. Sebastian was very responsive and he gave me all these recommendations where to eat and hike. The villa is close to train and bus stations. I loved everything about this hotel. I know I mentioned that it is very close to the train station, but you cant hardly hear the train passing. The...

Definitely coming back and definitely recommend to others!

Our stay from 17-20 May 2015 at the Schloss Hotel in Salzburg, Austria, was probably one of the best hotels we've stayed at. We were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel so beautiful and picturesque. The front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff were absolutely customer oriented and very accommodating to our requests. The front desk made all of our tour reservations; they treated us like royalty!!!! The restaurant staff was superb; the food was delicious and very filling!! And, we...

The best hotel we have ever stayed at. The views are amazing and the hotel is something out of a good movie. The staff were terrific. We went on a guided one hour torch nature walk that the hotel puts on Friday night. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Amazing staff, very friendly and family owned hotel!! Because it’s family owned, it has working hours. BE SURE TO CHECK IN BETWEEN 3PM - 7:59PM (5 hour window). There will be nobody there after hours, and if you’re arrive late, you have to give them a heads up a few hours ahead. Not very convenient if you’re flying in late, however, the rooms are SPACIOUS, and the bathroom is nice!!!
One of the bigger European hotel rooms we’ve stayed at!!!! Highly recommended once you’ve arrived! The only...

I have stayed at the Goldener Hirsch for the past 30 years The hotel and its staff never fail. Charming and comfortable, it is located in the midst of an active tourist area but absolutely quiet inside and completely safe outside. The staff listen carefully and exceed every request. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Salzburg.

Amazing staff. Luxurious hotel. Free parking. Spacious room with a nice view of lake Fuschl (Grand Deluxe Room) if you can afford an upgrade definitely go with it. Spa facilities are a must try, they have an indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool, steam room, as well as massage therapy. Dining is expensive as expected in such places. In short it was a great experience to stay in this castle if you have the opportunity to spend a couple of days here don't miss it.
