“What a nice, history rich house to stay in. You can tell it has old bones but has been maintained and is full of character. Loved the relaxing setting with the river running around the house. Plenty to explore on the property down by the water and in the woods. Exactly what’s needed for a relaxing get away. Close to town as well for anything needed. Kirsten was a great host. ”

“ To say that we enjoyed our time at this property does not do it justice. The cottage is filled with everything needed to make the stay enjoyable, including those things that may have been left behind, like toothpaste and shampoo. It is exceptionally clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the kitchen is ready for either cooking family meals or enjoying take-out. A bonus is the pond and an outdoor area. It beckons you to sit and enjoy nature while slowing down to take a deep breath and……

“What an amazing stay and much needed relaxation. We stayed here to break up our trip. It is located in the middle of wine country and an hour outside of D.C.The communication was the best. Very responsive. Nice Cold A/C and Hot Showers. The internal steps are steep.Couches are comfortable. Kitchen has all basic necessities. Deer in the yard. Flowers in bloom.Zero Complaints.”

Joe was also pleasant to work with, it was my second time booking with vrbo, he made me comfortable with the check in prosses. planning a trip need a place that is centrically located and easy to find I would suggest you give this house a try.”

“This VRBO home could not have been any better! It was clean, cozy, comfortable, and well stocked with everything you can possibly need. The owner, Lynn, answered all of our questions and responded to our text messages quickly. She could not have been more helpful. Location is ideal close to wineries and great restaurants. we enjoyed the grill on the back deck as well as the relaxing creek and chairs around the fire pit We enjoyed our stay here so much. “This adorable home is newly renovated with everything you could want! Everything was so clean and fresh. Laurel was a wonderful host and communicated clearly, asking if we needed anything else. We could easily walk to restaurants (less than two blocks away), and downtown Harper's Ferry was a little over a mile away, which was a perfect walk. We went tubing and mostly hung out at the house for a perfect girls' getaway weekend. I HIGHLY recommend staying at this property! I would go back!”
