The Bear’s Lair is a woodland cabin in Berkeley Springs, WV, perfect for families, friends, or a fun Friendsgiving getaway. Start your mornings with coffee on the screened porch as deer pass by and end your evenings around the fire pit under the stars.
The main floor features two queen bedrooms (one with an ensuite bath including a soaking tub and walk-in shower) and accessibility-friendly details like lever handles and blackout shades. Upstairs, the king bedroom has a reading nook and shares a full bathroom. A loft area with a futon, play couch, and desk offers space for games, crafts, or work.
Downstairs is all about fun: challenge your group to classic Pac-Man and Street Fighter II battles in the arcade room, or play shuffleboard, foosball, and board games. There’s also a twin bedroom that converts to a king if needed (no bathroom on this level).
Families with little ones will appreciate the provided crib, high chair, booster seat, baby gates, step stool, potty seat, and baby bathtub.
Outside, enjoy the wood-fired hot tub (firewood included), an outdoor sauna, axe throwing, cornhole, and giant Tetris Tumble. Relax on the deck, grill, or unwind in the screened porch surrounded by forest sounds.
Guests get seasonal access to Coolfont Mountainside hiking trails.
Nearby attractions include Cacapon State Park (hiking, golf, beach, nature center) and downtown Berkeley Springs with shops, cafes, and local charm.
