B&B HOTEL Gotha-Hbf

B&B HOTEL Gotha-Hbf

8/10 Good
"The best thing about this hotel is that it is located just five minutes' walk from Gotha Hauptbahnhof. The amenities are minimal -- in the room there were no coffee/tea making facilities, no tissues, no chair to sit in (just stools), thin towels, one pillow. The breakfast is adequate. There is no food offered later in the day, and there are no restaurants nearby (they are all in the city center). That said, the building is clean and modern, and the staff were friendly. A perfect place to stay if you need to be near the station."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Bermbach?
The best area to stay in Bermbach is directly within the village center, particularly around the Dorfplatz (village square) and the main road, Bermbacher Hauptstraße.

This central area offers a pleasant village experience, characterized by traditional Thuringian architecture and a relaxed pace of life. You'll find local guesthouses and family-run eateries concentrated here, providing convenience for accessing the village's amenities. Couples looking for a quiet retreat will appreciate the tranquil setting and the opportunity to experience authentic village life.

For those interested in exploring the surrounding natural beauty, staying near the outskirts of the village, particularly towards the hiking trails leading into the Thuringian Forest, is ideal.

During these months, the average temperatures range from 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F), creating comfortable conditions for exploring the Thuringian Forest or enjoying strolls through the village. This period is particularly good for families who wish to take advantage of the hiking trails and natural playgrounds, as the long daylight hours allow for extended outdoor enjoyment.

Another excellent time to visit is in late spring, particularly May, or early autumn, in September. These shoulder seasons offer pleasant weather with fewer crowds, and the landscapes are especially scenic.
