It is not a 4 stars hotel. The hot water stopped working and we were informed that the showers had to be very fast or we would have to wait for the heater to heat it up again.

Great view, nice breakfast and convenient location to historic locations and the gondola. The bedspread was worn so don’t expect much pampering, but good enough for a 3 star hotel in the fanciest town in Sicily.

The property is great. Located near Mt Etna and wine country. The rooms are very nice and the restaurant is exceptional including all of the restaurant staff.
If I had one observation to improve it would be the attentiveness of the front desk staff. They are not always available and do not always respond ti email.

However on arrival we were informed the pool, sea swimming and the dive centre were closed all of which open on 1st June as listed under the “services subsection” of the website. ..."
