Hotel Alf
3.0 star property
Borovany
7.6 out of 10, Good, (5 reviews)
"La struttura ha i suoi anni e si vedeva, moquette in po' consumata. Finestra della camera che dava sulla cucina con odori che salivano ed entravano in camera, non essendoci il climatizzatore era necessario dormire con le finestre aperte. Quindi rumore e odori. Il servizio ristorante era fino alle 20-30. Poi dovevi spostarti a 20km nella città più grande per mangiare. Per il prezzo pagato comunque era in media. Pulizia okay."

3.5 star property
Rozmberk nad Vltavou
7.8 out of 10, Good, (62 reviews)
"This hotel and restaurant Was very disappointing since it has much potential. The room was quite nice, clean and large. The hotel description indicated air conditioning however none was in the room, so 30°C day feels incredibly hot in an upper loft-style room. The bars in the town are open late and you can hear everything on the street. The restaurant should be avoided. The fettuccine con pollo literally tasted like vomit, and the Mediterranean salad was quite flavourless. Drive to Cesky...

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Besednice?
The best area to stay in Besednice is directly within the village center, as it offers the most convenient access to local amenities and the surrounding natural beauty.

Besednice is a small, quiet village, and its central area is characterized by traditional Czech architecture, a village square, and local shops. The main church, the Church of Saint Lawrence, is a prominent landmark. Staying here places you within walking distance of the local pub and grocery store, which are central to the village's daily life.

Couples looking for a peaceful retreat will find the village center ideal. Its quiet setting provides a relaxed base for exploring the picturesque countryside, including easy access to hiking trails and scenic viewpoints of the Malše River valley. The local pub offers a genuine taste of Czech hospitality in a relaxed setting.

Travelers seeking a tranquil base for outdoor activities, such as hiking or cycling, will also appreciate staying in the village center.
When is the best time to go to Besednice?
The best time to go to Besednice is during the late spring (May to June) or early autumn (September to October) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.

During these months, the weather is mild, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the South Bohemia Region, including the nearby Blanský Forest Protected Landscape Area and the Kleť Observatory. You'll find comfortable temperatures for hiking and outdoor activities without the peak summer heat or the chill of winter.

Families traveling with children will appreciate the comfortable weather for outdoor excursions. The region offers many opportunities for nature walks and exploring historical sites like the Český Krumlov Castle, which is a short drive away. These seasons also avoid the busiest tourist periods, allowing for a more relaxed experience.

For couples seeking a quiet and scenic getaway, late spring and early autumn provide an ideal backdrop.
