Period two bedroom cottage set on quayside adjacent to all amenities in heart of a beautiful character port.
Both bedrooms, one a double the other a twin have been recently refurbished with quality furnishings.
The master has a kingsized bed, paintings by local artists, stunning views across the estuary at sunrise, flat screen tv and separate sky box from living room.
Downstairs there is separate living and dining rooms.
The living room has a wood burner, sky tv and sound system.
The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, toaster and breakfast bar.
The upstairs family bathroom has a bath with an over bath electric shower and screen.
Downstairs there is an outside toilet set in a small courtyard.

We love Appledore
We arrived in Appledore and found the most enchanting place to stay, right on the quay side. Everyone in Appledore was friendly and just behind our property there was a fish and chip shop opposite a pub, and we were aloud to eat our dinner in the pub. Back at the property, 2 great sized bedrooms, a good sized bathroom and downstairs ample room for us to either sit with a meal and watch the passing holiday makers or sit and read a book or watch a film in the other room, well equipped kitchen. Thank you, we will be back!!!

Quayside Fisherman’s Cottage
This is a lovely cosy comfortable cottage on the Quay in Appledore with a super view over the river estuary. We had some difficulty finding it as the website is misleading. The actual name of the cottage is The Moorings not Quayside Fisherman’s Cottage! Please can you change this on your website?

A Slice of Heaven
This was an absolute gem of a place, comfy, quirky, spotless, a real home from home... but better. The decor was delightful, real homely touches, warm and cosy. It was light,bright and airy, with spectacular views over the estuary. Everything.you could need in the well equipped kitchen, and then some! There were nice touches, such as games for a rainy day, a very thoughtful welcome pack.. which was much appreciated, and a welcoming light left on for our late arrival. In the absolute best location to enjoy all the delights of fabulous Appledore. The host, Derek, was extremely welcoming, helpful and immediately answered any queries by text, or phone. We shall return to this cottage in the future, we have Scrabble competitions to complete! Thank You for having us to stay.

A wonderful stay
This was our 2nd time visiting Appledore and we were very happy to stay at the same property. It’s a wonderful place to stay. Great location and everything we needed. We love the area and really hope to be back soon. A truly wonderful holiday!

The cottage is clean, comfortable, pleasant and welcoming. There's plenty to see and do in and around Appledore, and a good choice of places to eat. We've visited the area quite a few times over the years and this cottage has certainly been one of the best. We all really enjoyed our stay.

What a view!!
We had a great time here with fabulous views of the estuary from the light, airy bedroom. Derek our host provided little extra touches which was great. A bottle of bubbles etc as we arrived and watched the water and boats while we relaxed. We will definitely return!!

Amazing cottage on the harbour front, lovely little village with shops and restaurants. Cottage was clean and in a lovely location and the host was on hand if I needed anything. Can't praise this cottage enough!! Highly recommended.

Lovely stay
We had a fantastic stay in the cottage. The location could not be better. Waking up to see the ever-changing quay and tides was a delight. Having scones with cream and prosecco left for our arrival is a fantastic touch by the host. Only parking could be a challenge as it was regatta fortnight, but a weeks ticket for the main car park resolved any issues. Highly recommend!!!

Just perfect!
We just loved our stay here! Lots of lovely little touches that make it homely, including fresh flowers. The house is very clean and tidy and has everything you need for a perfect stay. We loved the charm and character of it, including the wonky floors and low ceiling. The seaview from the bedroom just topped off our evenings, watching the world go by. The kids loved crabbing off the quay, lots of fab beaches and many places to visit... the big sheep was a hit with our children as was the North Devon show. Thank you Derek for the scones, cream, jam & bubbles upon arrival, they went down a treat!

Wonderful cottage in a great location
A lovely cottage close to all the amenities that Appledore has to offer. Great views from the bedroom window across the estuary to Instow. Derek had generously provided basics like milk, butter, tea and coffee, juice, sparkling wine, scones and clotted cream along with fresh flowers in the dining room. Derek kindly posted some items back to that we had inadvertently left behind. We would highly recommend this cottage for a stay when visiting the area.

Perfect holiday cottage
This property was in an excellent position for enjoying both Appledore and the surrounding location. The cottage was clean and comfortable and the views over the estuary were great always changing with the tides. A very generous host. Would highly recommend.

The cottage exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, tastefully furnished and decorated with fresh flowers to welcome us. Comfortable house in great location
Derek was the perfect host- providing advice about travel and traffic and flexibility around check in time. The welcome treats left at the property were a nice touch and the house itself was well-equipped and comfortable as well as being in a brilliant location.
